Contrasting reasons for staying alert because along with the storms and chaos, beauty may emerge.
This is likely difficult to view. A dream setup that I feared was about to vanish. I struggled to get a clear photo. I think they are starlings. I spotted them in the field and drove back and forth four times hoping to capture several images, knowing they'd probably take to flight ... which they did but then they'd return to this spot. I'd drive by holding my camera out of the window, continually snapping photos, hoping to get one or two good ones. I thought I managed to get several images that I felt excited about but lacking in clarity.
